Northern California Resources
The Stanford Movement Disorders Center offers a Parkinson's Community Outreach Program. And is a designated Parkinson's Information & Referral Center of the American Parkinson Disease Association. We connect individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD), their families, and care partners to support groups, exercise classes, movement disorder neurologists and other healthcare specialists, educational resources, and events. Our services are focused on those in Northern and Central California.

PD Support Groups
- PD support groups: both virtual and in-person; from Eureka to Santa Barbara and Victorville
- PD support groups specifically for caregivers: both virtual and in-person
Classes for PD Exercise and Fall Prevention
- PD exercise classes: mostly in-person; some virtual
- online PD exercise classes: hosted by Northern California groups or individuals
- fall prevention programs: based in the community
