I graduated from Reed College in 2023 with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in music. During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to conduct an honors thesis project in the field of animal behavior. I spent my senior year running experiments to study sexual selection in Xenopus, with a focus on the fascinating species-specific dominant frequency ratios of male frog attraction calls. This project was extremely rewarding and fun for me and propelled me to seek further education in animal research. This year I started my master's in laboratory animal science here at Stanford University where I am very excited to be joining the Parker Lab. My current research interests are animal social behavior, vocal communication, and neurological disorders, with a core focus on the underlying mechanisms of and possible treatments for autism.
