I am a premedical student transitioning from a career in technology. After earning a BA in Economics and minor in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, I hightailed it to Silicon Valley to build technology companies. After some success, I shifted my focus to medicine to serve people more directly—by developing innovations with immediate clinical impact and providing personal, compassionate care as an EMT, and one day, as a physician.
At the Parker Lab, I bring a deep interest in neurobiology and a background in technology-driven problem-solving to support their research on the neurobiological underpinnings of autism spectrum disorder and the development of novel treatments. Psychiatric disorders are the defining health issue of our time, and the brain remains one of the great scientific frontiers. I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to both with the Parker Lab.
