Providing Training at Every Stage
Our palliative care team is committed and dedicated to teaching the next generation of health care providers. Whether that is the next leaders in hospice and palliative medicine or a new cadre of generalists and specialists prepared to provide essential primary palliative care to all of their patients, our team offers educational opportunities to health care providers at all stages of training.
Because palliative care is provided by an interdisciplinary team, we also strive to provide learning opportunities for a variety of non-physician providers including advanced practice providers, nurse practitioners, certified nurse specialists, social workers, physician assistants and chaplains.
Palliative Care Always Online Course
Palliative Care Always is a self-paced online course for health care providers, patients, and caregivers. Through five short modules, you’ll build core palliative care skills like symptom management, communication, and goal setting to improve care for those facing serious illness.
