About

The Partnership in AI-Assisted Care (PAC) is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the School of Medicine and the Computer Science department focusing on cutting edge computer vision and machine learning technologies to solve some of healthcare's most important problems.

Our research routinely appears in popular press, international conference, and academic journal venues. We have a strong presence in the clinical, medical informatics, machine learning, and computer vision communities.

We are actively looking for postdoctoral scholars, research fellows, and students in both clinical and machine learning domains. Let us work together to develop advanced artificial intelligence technologies for real-world healthcare settings.

PAC Researcher Neha Srivathsa Earns Prestigious Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research

PAC’s pioneering research in behavioral health is charting a path toward widely accessible AI-enabled mental health screening. As a computer science student in the class of 2022, Neha's contributions to that research became the basis of her thesis, "Multimodal, Self-Supervised Deep Learning-Based Estimation of Symptoms and Severity of Depression and Anxiety," for which she won the university’s highest honor for an undergraduate computer science thesis.
