Post-doctoral and Graduate Training Opportunities in the Oro Laboratory -- Join us!
Post-doctoral Fellowships
Post-doctoral training represents a critical aspect of running an independent research program in either in academia or industry. Fellowship training in the Oro laboratory provides guidance in developing an independent research program to be continued once you've left the lab, guidance in fellowship, manuscript and grant writing, guidance in mentorship, teaching, and public speaking, and guidance in applying for independent research positions.

Graduate Training in Stem Cell, Cancer, Bio-X, or Informatics
The Oro laboratory forms an integral part of the Stanford Biosciences Graduate Training Program in the areas of Cancer Biology, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Bio-X, and Informatics. Students in my lab have the opportunity to be teaching assistants if they desire the experience and will receive guidance applying for graduate fellowships (NSF, F30), qualifying exams, and progress toward their thesis. Students should apply to the Stanford Biosciences program and specify the particular home program they desire. Contact us with any questions about the application process or to do a rotation in the lab.
