YOU'RE INVITED: 2021 Optic Disc Drusen Virtual Conference

MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 (8 AM - 3 PM)

REGISTER BELOW!

The Stanford Center for Optic Disc Drusen at the Byers Eye Institute is hosting an international virtual conference to share laboratory and clinical advances and seed collaborative opportunities, to educate the public about the state of optic disc drusen research, and to strategize about how to rapidly advance the field. Last year we had a successful international meeting of about 450 participants from 35 countries, and this year we are hosting our second annual meeting. Optic disc drusen are calcified deposits found at the anterior optic nerve in about 2% of the general population. It is an important risk factor for optic neuropathy and vision loss.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting will be virtual through Zoom. We are aware that this is an extremely challenging time for many people, and our sincere thoughts go out to the many who are suffering during this unprecedented crisis.

Registration is free. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration form below. Those who register will receive detailed information about the meeting. While we will not be offering CME credit for this 2021 meeting. For those unable to attend, a videotaped version of the meeting will be placed on the website after.
