Ophthalmic Innovation Symposium

The Ophthalmic Innovation Symposium and Workshop is returning to Stanford on July 28, 2026.

This event is hosted annually on the Stanford University campus by the Ophthalmic Innovation Program at the Byers Eye Institute and is organized by the Collaborative Community on Ophthalmic Innovation (CCOI) in collaboration with the Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign and UCSF. 

This year marks 10 years of the symposium, which convenes experts from industry, academia, professional societies, foundations, and the investment community to help train the next generation of ophthalmic innovators and pave the way for a new wave of technologies to diagnose, treat, and prevent blindness worldwide.
