Open Postdoctoral position, faculty mentor Dr. John Sunwoo
Our laboratory studies the interaction between tumor cells and the host immune system. Current research includes: understanding the role of innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) and NK cells in the context of cancer; understanding how epigenetic changes in the tumor microenvironment modulate immune responses; and understanding tumor-intrinsic mechanisms driving immune response and/or evasion. Our lab is also actively developing novel therapeutic approaches to enhance the immune control of malignant cell growth. We are looking for someone interested in a postdoctoral fellowship to pursue studies using primary patient samples and novel in vivo and in vitro model systems.
