[18F]DASA-23 and PET Scan in Evaluating Pyruvate Kinase M2 Expression in Patients With Intracranial Tumors or Recurrent Glioblastoma and Healthy Volunteers
This phase I trial studies how well \[18F\]DASA-23 and positron emission tomography (PET) scan work in evaluating pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) expression in patients with intracranial tumors or recurrent glioblastoma and healthy volunteers. PKM2 regulates brain tumor metabolism, a key factor in glioblastoma growth. \[18F\]DASA-23 is a radioactive substance with the ability to monitor PKM2 activity. A PET scan is a procedure in which a small amount of a radioactive substance, such as \[18F\]DASA-23, is injected into a vein, and a scanner is used to make detailed, computerized pictures of areas inside the body where the substance is used. Tumor cells usually pick up more of these radioactive substances, allowing them to be found. Giving \[18F\]DASA-23 with a PET scan may help doctors evaluate PKM2 expression in healthy volunteers and in participants with intracranial tumors or recurrent glioblastoma.

Water-based Activity to Enhance Recall in Veterans
This two-year study will evaluate the feasibility of an exercise training augmentation for cognitive training intervention to improve memory performance in Veterans with a diagnosis of amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment (aMCI). This is a two-phased trial: 1) an exercise phase and 2) a cognitive training program. The exercise phase will be an aquatic based exercise program. A combination of exercise and cognitive training programs designed for persons without cognitive impairment have significantly improved memory more than other single intervention groups (exercise only, cognitive training only) and given the success of combination training programs with healthy older adults, it is important to adapt these programs for persons beginning to exhibit clinically significant memory problems, such as those with aMCI.

Whole Brain Radiation Therapy With Standard Temozolomide Chemo-Radiotherapy and Plerixafor in Treating Patients With Glioblastoma
This phase II trial studies how well whole brain radiation therapy works with standard temozolomide chemo-radiotherapy and plerixafor in treating patients with glioblastoma (brain tumor). Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Plerixafor is a drug that may prevent recurrence of glioblastoma after radiation treatment. Giving whole brain radiation therapy with standard temozolomide chemo-radiotherapy and plerixafor may work better in treating patients with glioblastoma.

Warfarin and Antiplatelet Therapy in Chronic Heart Failure
Whether patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) should be anticoagulated is one of the oldest unresolved questions in cardiovascular therapeutics. Some authorities do not recommend anticoagulation for CHF patients in sinus rhythm, others recommend anticoagulation in patients with primary cardiomyopathy, and still others consider it more appropriate in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This absence of consensus reflects the lack of evidence in this area and different outlooks on the objectives of such therapy (e.g., prevention of arterial emboli or reduction in vascular events).

Vorinostat With or Without Isotretinoin in Treating Young Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Solid Tumors, Lymphoma, or Leukemia
This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of vorinostat when given together with isotretinoin in treating young patients with recurrent or refractory solid tumors, lymphoma, or leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as vorinostat, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vorinostat may also stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the cancer. Isotretinoin may cause cancer cells to look more like normal cells, and to grow and spread more slowly. Giving vorinostat together with isotretinoin may be an effective treatment for cancer.

68Ga-RM2 PET/MRI in Biochemically Recurrent Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer (PC) remains the most-common non-cutaneous cancer diagnosed in American males, accounting for an estimated 174,560 estimated new cases and 31,620 estimated deaths in 2019. Up to 40% of the patients with prostate cancer develop biochemical recurrence within 10 years after initial treatment. Usually an increase of the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) llevel precedes a clinically detectable recurrence by months to years, and this is currently used as a screening test before and subsequent to treatment. However, disease advancement can be local, regional or systemic, and each has significantly different approaches to disease management. Unfortunately, PSA level does not differentiate between these disease stages.
This phase 2-3 study explores the utility of radiolabel 68Ga-RM2, a 68-gallium (68Ga)-labeled gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPr) antagonist, for positron emission tomography (PET) / magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (collectively, PET/MRI) as a potential tool to help discriminate between disease stages in participants after treatment with surgery or radiation, who present persistently elevated PSA levels (ie, may have prostate cancer), but were negative for cancer with a diagnostic regular medical care computed tomography (CT) scan
68Ga-RM2 (BAY86-7548) is also identified as a synthetic bombesin receptor antagonist. PET/MRI is the collective result of 2 scan processes (PET and MRI ) conducted during the same scan procedure (ie, a combined scan). After a regular medical care computed tomography (CT) scan, participants will be scanned with 68Ga-RM2 PET/MRI scan procedure. PET/MRI is used to assess the location, size, and metabolic activity of a suspected tumor.
The 68Ga-RM2 radiolabel consisted of a ligand (the synthetic bombesin receptor antagonist) and the radioisotope 68Ga. The RM2 ligand targets gastrin-releasing peptide receptors (GRPr), commonly expressed by prostate cancer cells, and the radioisotope distinguishes those cells from the background. The criteria for scan "positivity" will be, when compared to background level of the liver (control), the 68Ga signal is stronger (positive - malignant) or weaker (negative - benign).
This study will assess how well 68Ga-RM2 works in detecting prostate cancer in patients with
68Ga-RM2 PET/MRI may be able to see smaller tumors than the standard of care contrast-enhanced CT or MRI scan.Investigator

Web-based Implementation for the Science of Enhancing Resilience Study
Resilience means a healthcare provider's ability to cope, recover, and learn from stressful events, as well as their access to resources that promote health and well-being. Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) health professionals' need to have particularly good resilience, because their work is extremely stressful and their patients, fragile preterm infants, require their undivided attention. The investigators propose a feasible and engaging intervention to enhance resilience among NICU health professionals promoting their ability to provide safe care.

Veterans Affairs Pharmacist Heart Failure Medication Titration Project 1
This is a randomized quality improvement project to evaluate the impact of an audit and feedback intervention to motivate pharmacists to provide heart failure (HF) medication management to patients in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Sierra Pacific region (VISN 21). The results of this project could provide guidance for how to successfully scale a pharmacist-based HF remote management program in the VHA more broadly.
Pharmacists providing clinical care as part of Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) within VHA VISN 21 will be included. Pharmacists will be randomized to one of 3 arms in a 1:1:2 ratio: (1) monthly audit and feedback of HF medication titration activities (AF) vs. (2) educational resources and monthly notification of HF medication titration actions in addition to a list of potential patients for HF optimization (AF+) vs. (3) usual care without audit and feedback (UC). Pharmacists across all three arms will be given access to shared educational resources on HF pharmacist care and educational webinars. Six months after the intervention, rates of pharmacist HF medication titration encounters will be compared among the 3 groups.Investigator
