Vestibular therapy is a specialized form of rehabilitation therapy designed to help patients with:

  • dizziness
  • gaze instability
  • imbalance


At Stanford this includes not only functional testing, but also personalized in-clinic and at-home regimens for treatment. Exercises span a range of activities to promote compensation in vestibular disorders, including:

  • habituation
  • gaze stabilization
  • substitution exercises
  • balance training
