Steenerson Clinic

Kristen Steenerson, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery (OHNS) and, by courtesy, of Neurology

Dr. Steenerson

Dr. Steenerson focuses most of her energy on clinical care of patients. She is a consultant, meaning she strives to diagnose and help direct primary neurologists, ENTs and primary care physicians on how to treat a patient in the longterm. She focuses on vestibular disorders that cause dizziness and imbalance. Due to the huge public health burden of dizziness and only one Dr. Steenerson, wait times can be long. To make sure that your time is spent efficiently, we ask that you fill out an otoneurology intake form (online or paper). After Dr. Steenerson reviews your intake form, you may be instructed to obtain more diagnostic testing, evaluation by a different physician or you may be directly scheduled. As the inner ear and brain are dynamic organs, we do sometimes need to repeat tests that have been completed before to make sure there has been no change.
