SHC Medical Director Leadership Compass Program

Leadership Compass is a cohort experience for medical directors at Stanford Health Care.  Sponsored by Dr. Niraj Sehgal, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Linda Boxer, Vice Dean, and Dr. Bonnie Maldonado, Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Diversity, the program runs annually by invitation to newly-appointed medical directors.   Every session will meet in-person for approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, including lunch. Compass is intended to provide critical knowledge and skills, along with an invaluable opportunity to get to know and meet with key SHC leaders.  The program directed by Drs. Stephanie Harman, Magali Fassiotto and Rania Sanford.

Open to all SHC medical directors with emphasis on new directors.

Goals:

• Understand the medical director role and the organizational system
• Develop personal goals for the role
• Activate a network of partners
• Build leadership skills and contextual awareness
