Reyna joined the group in October 2019 and assists in daily tasks of all studies, especially the RAMP Study. She has her license as a Vocational Nurse from Mission College. In her free time she likes to bake (especially banana bread) and spend time with family.
Christina joined the group in June 2019 as a study coordinator and currently coordinates the Keto-Med study. She has a Masters degree in Chemical Biology and is a registered Holistic Nutritionist. In her spare time she loves baking gluten-free and healthy desserts, being outdoors in nature and doing yoga.
Vincent graduated from Stanford in 2020 and majored in Human Biology. Vincent is passionate about the intersection of exercise and nutrition. He is working with the lab on a pilot study comparing athletic performance on different diets. Outside the lab, Vincent grew up a competitive swimmer and has recently transitioned to cycling.
Yuning is a registered dietitian and is pursuing her Master’s in Community Health and Prevention Research at Stanford. She is working with Dr. Kin to learn if short-term dietary changes can affect the gut microbiome prior to surgery. For her thesis, she is excited to conduct semi-structured interviews on patients going through colon resection surgery better to understand the barriers and facilitators on diet adherence.
Aubrey is pursuing her Master’s in Community Health and Prevention Research at Stanford. She is working with the lab to conduct a pilot study that will compare the effects of consuming red meat, plant-based meat alternatives, or a whole food plant-based diet on athletic performance. Aubrey is excited to write her master’s thesis on the results of the study, and in the meantime, she will also be running on Stanford’s cross country and track team!
