Alumni

Reyna joined the group in October 2019 and assists in daily tasks of all studies, especially the RAMP Study. She has her license as a Vocational Nurse from Mission College. In her free time she likes to bake (especially banana bread) and spend time with family. 

Christina joined the group in June 2019 as a study coordinator and currently coordinates the Keto-Med study. She has a Masters degree in Chemical Biology and is a registered Holistic Nutritionist. In her spare time she loves baking gluten-free and healthy desserts, being outdoors in nature and doing yoga.

Anthony Crimarco is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention at the Stanford Prevention Research Center. His primary research interests are diet and lifestyle interventions for obesity prevention. He completed his PhD in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior at the University of South Carolina and also completed Masters’ degrees in Wellness Management at Ball State University and Business Management at the University of Florida.

Yuning is a registered dietitian and is pursuing her Master’s in Community Health and Prevention Research at Stanford. She is working with Dr. Kin to learn if short-term dietary changes can affect the gut microbiome prior to surgery. For her thesis, she is excited to conduct semi-structured interviews on patients going through colon resection surgery better to understand the barriers and facilitators on diet adherence.
