Honey or Sugar?

Both sugar and honey are carbohydrates and can raise blood glucose levels. 1 tablespoon of honey has 17g of carbohydrates. 1 tablespoon of sugar has 13g of carbohydrates.

As such, honey is not a good replacement for sugar if you want to reduce blood glucose levels. Instead, you can use some chopped pineapple. For one meal, you can use 4 tablespoons of chopped pineapple, with 6 grams of carbohydrates.

This is a fried rice dish with brown rice and lots of vegetables. You can add chopped pineapple for a refreshing taste to your fried rice.
