Optogenetics Workshops
The Deisseroth lab is currently offering remote (pandemic-compatible) versions of their optogenetics workshops via Zoom. We will prioritize projects that specifically seek to enable and advance the study of drug abuse and related phenomena. Topics will include: optogenetics overview, viral injection, fiber-implant surgery, opto-stimulated behavior testing, viral expression strategies, new opsin updates and complementary technologies. Researchers will have the opportunity to discuss and receive technical and scientific feedback on using optogenetics for their drug abuse-related research goals.
Registration Information
Workshops will be scheduled based on demand with an effort to maintain small training groups for a personal experience. For information contact Dr. Maisie Lo: maisielo@stanford.edu.
