Odette Harris, MD, MPH, is a professor of neurosurgery and director of brain injury in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford. She specializes in traumatic brain injury, and serves in leadership positions at both Stanford and the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. In this podcast, she discusses her career and the importance of having mentors to guide you along the way. Recently Dr. Harris was promoted to full professor — making her one of the first black female professors of neurosurgery in the nation.
