Memorial event for Roy Maffly, distinguished mentor and teacher, set for Oct. 11

A celebration of the life of Roy Maffly, who died April 15, will be held Oct. 11 at theStanford Faculty Club

A celebration of the life of Roy Maffly, MD, a former associate dean for student affairs at the School of Medicine and a champion for recruiting underrepresented minorities to the school,will be held from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Stanford Faculty Club. No RSVP is necessary.Maffly died April 15. He was 91.
