Yi Zhang, MD
Yi was born in Zhejiang, China, and moved to the US at the age of 5. She spent the majority of her childhood in Westford, MA, and graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Neurobiology and on the Mind/Brain/Behavior track. Yi received her MD from Stanford School of Medicine, where she pursued an additional funded research year dedicated to the application of machine learning and predictive modeling to the study of neurosurgical outcomes under the mentorship of Dr. John Ratliff. Outside of neurosurgery, Yi enjoys hiking, yoga, painting, and spending time with her blind cat Potato.
