Department of Neurosurgery Research Opportunities
We invite all research investigators, residents and faculty members to post any research projects you have that could benefit from Stanford medical student involvement. Our students are eager to engage in a variety of opportunities involving basic science, clinical research, quality improvement and community outreach.

2018 Neurosciences Institute Interdisciplinary Scholar Awards
The Stanford Neurosciences Institute Interdisciplinary Scholar Awards provide funding to extraordinary postdoctoral scientists at Stanford University engaged in highly interdisciplinary research in the neurosciences broadly defined.

Parkinson's Disease Seed Grant
The Departments of Neurosurgery and Pathology are requesting applications for a Seed Grant Program to foster novel research in the area of basic, translational or clinical research related to Parkinson’s Disease. The overall goals of this program are to: Provide seed money to support outstanding and novel ideas, foster collaborations among basic science and clinical researchers interested in Parkinson's Disease, provide funding to develop pilot data leading to federal or other extramural funding.
Funding will be up to $200,000 over 2 years. We expect to fund 1 proposal. Submission deadline is October 1, 2017. Learn more about eligibility requirements and applicaton deatils.
