Keynote Speaker

Jaimie Henderson, MD

Jaimie Henderson, MD, is the John and Jene Blume - Robert and Ruth Halperin Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. With a career dedicated to advancing the field of functional neurosurgery, Dr. Henderson specializes in the treatment of epilepsy, chronic pain, movement disorders, and deep brain stimulation techniques.

After receiving his medical degree from Rush Medical College, Dr. Henderson completed his residency in neurosurgery at Saint Louis University, where he developed a passion for enhancing the quality of life for patients with complex neurological conditions. He has since established a reputation for his expertise in brain-computer interfaces, a groundbreaking area of research aimed at restoring function for individuals with severe neurological impairments.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Henderson is actively involved in research that bridges the gap between neuroscience and technology, focusing on innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Henderson's dedication to patient care, coupled with his pioneering work in neurosurgery, has led to significant advancements in the understanding and treatment of various neurological disorders.
