Featured Alumni

Georgia Hutchinson is a current undergraduate at Harvard and was involved in JClub from 2019-2023. She presented at the forum in 2021 and helped moderate/organize from 2022-2025.

Reflecting on her time, Hutchinson said, “Stanford faculty supported me in high school through the Journal Club, Summer of Neuroscience and the forum. Starting to learn how to read papers at age 15 was a valuable experience and has given me a leg up in both neuroscience classes and research. I've loved taking neuroscience classes in undergrad and getting a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving the disorders we learned about in Journal Club. Working on clinical research has been really cool, and I’m still in touch with other students I met through the forum!”

Stanford High School Neuroscience Virtual Forum

Have a neuroscience project you are working on that you are passionate about and want to share with a group of students across the country that have similar interest as you?

Join our fifth annual Stanford High School Neuroscience Virtual Forum!

  • If selected, you will have the opportunity to present your own work related to neuroscience, psychology, and/or mental health to a national audience. This could be research, a topic or project you learned about in school, or something you've researched for fun.
  • Maybe you designed an app, created a curriculum, or wrote a paper focusing on neuroscience. This forum will allow you to enhance your presentation skills and gain exposure to a myriad of topics in the neuroscience field.
