With the widespread engagement of faculty, trainees, and staff in work related to quality improvement, patient safety, and patient and physician experience, I humbly believe that the Stanford Department of Neurology & Neurosciences has the greatest improvement capability of any Neurology department in the nation. The following webpages are designed with the intention of sharing our Quality, Safety, & Experience infrastructure and achievements with current members of the Department of Neurology & Neurosciences, colleagues across Stanford, prospective residents and fellows, and academic neurologists nationally and internationally. The Stanford Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences strives to be known nationally among neurologists for our emphasis on innovative interventions to improve high-value care, patient access, and physician and staff wellness.
