Transition Orientation

Stanford Neurodiversity Project is excited to welcome three students to as part of our innagural Transition Orientation Program.

The Transition Orientation program takes place over the five days prior to the regular New Student Orientation. Over these five days, incoming freshmen are oriented to campus life and emerging adulthood. Topics include: campus resources, residential life and independent living skills, transportation, community resources, social support, and an introduction to neurodiversity.

In addition to the SNP staff, we will also have two of our new peer mentors helping students during this program. The students are able to move into their assigned dorm room, further facilitating a smoother and less stressful transition into college. We hope to expand this program to include more students in the following years.
