Fellows in the Division of Nephrology experience a broad range of educational opportunities consistent with those recommended by the American College of Graduate Medical Education. Conferences based at the Stanford University include:
- Core Curriculum Conference, a comprehensive series of lectures delivered by the Division’s faculty members and other relevant experts on all matters related to clinical Nephrology
- Nephrology Grand Rounds
- Medicine Grand Rounds
- Journal Club
- Renal Biopsy Conference with attendance by faculty members from Renal Pathology
- Combined Adult and Pediatric Renal Grand Rounds, covering overlapping issues
- Research in Progress Conference
- Ambulatory Nephrology Conference and Vascular Access conference at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center
- Interesting Case and Board Review Conference at Stanford and at VA
- Student Teaching Conference for rotating / visiting trainees
