M-mode in mouse
M-mode is a basic tool in echocardiography to determine LV function. This is a picture on wild type mice (25g) with normal function. LV wall thickness can be obtained from this view to evaluate LV hypertrophy.

Color M-mode in mouse
Color M-mode is a tool to determine dyssynchrony of LV. Dyssynchrony is a relatively common problem in patients with heart failure. It results in discoordinate cardiac contraction.
