MSTP BOOST

MSTP BOOST (Bridge to Opportunity, Support, and Training) is a program sponsored by the Stanford MSTP. BOOST aims to introduce students to the Stanford University community and offer professional development that prepares students for the MD-PhD admissions process. All students who are interested in pursuing an MD-PhD career are encouraged to apply. In particular, we encourage applicants from UC's, CSU's and other California community colleges.

BOOST will be held in person on the Stanford medical campus from April 22-24, 2026. Travel, housing, and meals will be covered for admitted scholars. Opportunities provided through our program include: 

• Networking with faculty and MD-PhD students
• Mock interviews for MD-PhD admissions
• Longitudinal guidance from a current student
• Personalized assistance with professional documents (e.g. CV, etc.)
• One-on-one meetings with Stanford PIs

The deadline to apply for MSTP BOOST has been extended to February 15, 2026. All application materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by this date.
