Past events

August 2022
After a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19, SWAPS held its 3rd Annual Mentorship Celebration in-person. We saw many familiar faces, got acquainted with the newer students in the program, and had a record turn-out of MD/PhD residents.

January 2020
SWAPS hosted a coffee chat with Dr. Hannah Valantine, Physician-Scientist and Chief Officer at NIH. We discussed her pilot mentorship program to provide longitudinal support to all individuals interested in a career in medicine and science. It was an honor to have a casual small-group chat with such an esteemed physician-scientist and advocate.

October 2019
The SWAPS 2nd Annual Fall Mentorship Celebration. We honored the amazing mentors who served all year and welcomed a new cohort of students into their mentorship groups.
