The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging Visitors Program offers the opportunity for physicians, residents, fellows, and medical students from all over the world to come to Stanford and observe alongside 11 full-time faculty and four fellows.
The amount of time spent at Stanford varies by visitor, with the average visit lasting one month. During this time, the visitor observes daily readings and possibly procedures. The visitor may also attend the various MSK conferences and lectures.
At SMOC, all cross sectional examinations are interpreted and procedures are performed. Please note that this location is 25 minutes from the main Stanford Hospital. Visitors are required to provide their own transportation to and from the site as well as to and from the main campus.
More information and enrollment is available on the Department of Radiology Visitor Program website.
