Unknown

Mouse Ethogram  >  Unknown Behaviors  >  Unknown

Overview and Meaning

A behavior is defined as unknown when the behavior of the animal cannot be distinguished. Unknown behaviors are included in ethograms to ensure that the ethogram is exhaustive (i.e. that at any time, a behavior can be identified).

Description

The animal is outside of the nest, but the behavior being performed cannot be identified, perhaps due to insufficient camera angles or an obstructed view of the animal.
