Sally Susman has served as chief corporate affairs officer and executive vice president of Pfizer since 2007. She also serves as vice chair of the Pfizer Foundation. In 2022, Forbes named Sally one of the World’s Most Influential chief marketing officers for Pfizer’s efforts to combat vaccine misinformation; and she has extensive experience as a senior communications executive at some of the world’s most influential companies, including Estée Lauder Companies and the American Express Company. Early in her career, Sally spent nearly a decade in government service focused on international trade relations, including serving as deputy assistant secretary for legislative affairs in the Clinton Administration. Sally is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, serves on the board of UL Solutions, and is co-chair of the board of the International Rescue Committee. Additionally, she is the author of Breaking Through: Communicating to Open Minds, Move Hearts, and Change the World, which explores lessons learned at Pfizer and throughout her career, offering a personal account of leading through candid communication.
