Scientific Conference
Annual scientific conference for all graduate students, postdocs, and faculty of the M&I department.
Journal Club
First and second year graduate students attend M&I Journal Club (MI 250) preceding a Wednesday seminar. Invited speakers suggest one of their published articles for discussion at the journal club. The paper is then presented by a graduate student and the hosting faculty member serves as both facilitator and resource.
Graduate Student Retreat
Annual event encouraging scientific exchange, social connectivity and cohesiveness among our M&I graduate students. This retreat focuses on both scientific discourse and team building for the current cohort.
