 To make an appointment, please contact CAPS Front Desk at 650-723-3785 and specify you are a School of Medicine student seeking an appointment with MHT. Sessions with members of MHT remain cost-free for actively enrolled MD, MSPA, SoM BioSci MS, and SoM BioSci PhD students regardless of insurance coverage. 

• For School of Medicine students experiencing immediate mental health crisis assistance call 650-723-3785 any time, including evenings and weekends. A clinician will be available to speak with you, assess your situation and offer support and/or recommendations for follow-up.  
• For life-threatening emergencies, call for immediate help or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.  Call 911 (or 9-911 from an on-campus phone).
