As Scientific Director of the Metabolic Health Center at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Lancaster researches metabolomics to investigate disease etiologies, discover diagnostics, and identify potential targets for interventions in pregnant mothers and newborns, as well as prebiotic dietary fiber supplementation to predictably alter the human microbiome and metabolome.
Dr. Lancaster hopes to combine these into research programs and use dietary interventions to improve pregnant mothers' health.
