Need help navigating the application system?
Here's a short video introduction.
Program application season opens in September, and mentors and mentees are accepted and matched each fall. For more information check out the timeline in the FAQs.
Step One
Enroll to be a mentor! During the enrollment process, you will indicate your experience and interests.
Step Two
Once the pool of mentors and mentees has been finalized, the platform will recommend up to three matches, the mentees will then reach out to you to schedule chemistry calls.
Step Three
Mentees and mentors will indicate their match preferences based on the informal meetings.
Step Four
We review the resumes and match preferences from mentors and mentees when making the final matches. You will receive an email with your match and next steps.
Our Commitment to Diversity
This program aims to increase representation of historically and currently marginalized individuals and communities. Individuals who have experience in engaging or mentoring marginalized communities are especially encouraged to volunteer.
The Staff Mentorship Program strives to ensure that individuals from diverse backgrounds, including race and ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, individuals with disabilities, and religious beliefs, are thriving on our campus. Such diversity will enhance the learning opportunities for the mentors and mentees of our program.
