About Us
The Comprehensive Otolaryngology Outcomes Research Group, led by Dr. Uchechukwu Megwalu, is an interdisciplinary research group that conducts outcomes/health services research related to otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. Our purpose is to conduct research that directly impacts health care delivery and health outcomes for patients with diseases of the head and neck. Our group fosters collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and trainees. One of our core missions is to educate and train the next generation of health services researchers. To that end, COOR Group supports medical students and residents by providing mentorship and creating an environment that fosters collaboration. Dr. Megwalu (principal investigator) has mentored many medical students, residents, and fellows on research projects.
