Speaker
Olivier Morin, PhD, principal investigator of the MEDomics consortium
Originally from Quebec City, Olivier is the principal investigator of the MEDomics consortium which was founded in 2018 by four institutions: University of California San Francisco (USA), McGill University (Canada), Maastricht University (Netherlands) and OncoRay (Germany) with the mission to facilitate the development of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the complex field of oncology.
The group has active research activities in informatics, quantitative imaging, natural language processing and the creation of prognostic machine learning models. Novel data strategies and algorithms are being developed to produce interpretable multi-criteria analyses using clinical, imaging and genetics data.
