Dr Gary Seng-Boh Lim, Director of the Radiation Dosimetry Core and Associate Attending Physicist, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Dr. Gary Seng-Boh Lim is the Director of the Radiation Dosimetry Core and an Associate Attending Physicist at MSKCC in New York. With degrees in Engineering Physics and Medical Physics from the University of British Columbia and a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers University, Dr. Lim brings over two decades of experience in advancing the field of radiotherapy physics. At MSKCC, he has led major initiatives, including the development of standardized patient-specific quality assurance, a network-wide treatment planning system model, multi-metastatic stereotactic radiosurgery, and online adaptive radiotherapy. He serves as Co-PI on a nerve-root ablation protocol and as the physics lead on the radiation countermeasure initiative. Dr. Lim is actively engaged in the physics community, serving as Chair of the AAPM MPPGs on Scope of Practice and on MLC QA, and as a member of various AAPM committees. He advocates for clinical excellence and innovation in medical physics.
