Introducing Our Newest Program
2023 Highlights
This immersive and interactive course is specifically designed to equip motivated, curious, and empathetic pre-medical and high school students with the practical skills that are fundamental in the medical school curriculum.
Over the course of 10 weeks, our program provides students with a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of topics pertinent to the medical field. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to take medical histories from patients, create a differential diagnosis, and think critically to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Our sessions include learning how to take vital signs, performing case presentations to work through pathology in various organ systems, performing organ dissections, learning the basics of suturing, and much more.
In addition to the individualized learning experience, our program also offers group activities designed to simulate the collaborative problem solving required in the medical field. These group activities will provide a challenging and rewarding experience for our students, preparing them for the realities of medical practice.
Throughout the program, students will receive mentorship from Stanford School of Medicine faculty, who will guide them through the curriculum and provide expert insights into the medical profession.
We believe that the Stanford Clinical Skills Internship - CSI's Fall Intensive is an excellent investment in your future, providing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the medical field. The sessions are delivered in an online format via Zoom, allowing students to participate from anywhere in the world. If you are interested in pursuing a career in medicine and are seeking to gain an edge in your academic journey, we encourage you to apply.
The program fee is $1980 for 10 weeks, and new students pay an application fee of $35.
