• The MEP Student Records system is available to current MD Program students by going  to https://med.stanford.edu/mep using your SUNet ID and password.
• Your student record will display, including details covering your academic progress toward earning the MD degree
• Update your SoM Planned Grad Term as needed and enter details in the Demographics section as desired
• The use of MEP Student Records is covered by privacy and terms of use policies

• Each MD student's record will include the following sections:
• MD Academic Progress
  • Tracks student progress toward the MD degree based on the applicable MD Program Handbook degree requirements.  Units and weeks enrolled, completed, and required are displayed.
• Clerkship Schedule
  • If clinical clerkships have been scheduled, they are listed per academic year, per term.  Period, number of weeks, units, start and end dates are included.
• Exams
  • Displays required exam results along with USMLE deadlines and schedules.
• Deficiencies
  • Tracks non-passing SoM Grades and exam results that do not fulfill MD degree requirements.
• Scholarly Concentration / Medical Scholar
  • Displays Scholarly Concentration requirements and Medical Scholars Research.  For more detail, navigate to the Scholarly Concentration or Medical Scholar menus at the top of the Student Record page.
• Resident Tuition Quarters
  • Tracks tuition residency requirement of enrolling in 12 terms at full Medical Graduate tuition. 
• Promotions
  • Tracks required promotions toward MD degree requirements.
• Stanford Academic Record
  • Course/clerkship enrollments are listed per academic year, per term, with enrolled and completed unit totals. Axess Grades are official grades on the transcript. School of Medicine (SoM) Grades are for SoM internal use only. Click course/clerkship title when a SoM Grade is listed to see details.
• Status Changes
  • Student's MD program status is displayed, including approved leave of absences.
• Demographics
  • Provides student demographic information. Click Edit to update First Generation or Gender Identity details.
• Other Academic Record
  • Includes undergraduate degrees, additional Stanford academic careers, and non-Stanford external academic degree information when applicable.
• Notes on Record
  • When applicable, displays notes about the student record from the SoM Registrar's Office.
• Postgraduate
  • Displays student's residency program and/or postgraduate plans. Click Edit to provide details.
• History of Changes
  • Provides MEP system timestamps for changes made to the student's record.

• Q: What if the information on my student record is incorrect?
  • A: If you believe data associated with your MEP Student Record is incorrect, please file a ServiceNow ticket.
• Q: What's the quickest way to see my degree progress?
  • A: Use the Progress Checklist on the left side of the display.  Completed items will have a green check mark.  Click any of the linked items to navigate to your record's details.
• Q: Why are there two different expected graduation term entries?
  
  • A: The University Expected Grad Term is entered at the time an MD student matriculates and cannot be changed until an application to graduate is submitted.  The SoM Planned Grad Term has been made available for students to indicate their graduation term plans if the term no longer matches the University Expected Grad Term.
• Q: How do I replace my photo?
  • A: Have your new photo ready to upload then go to the Campus Card Services website and click Upload ID Card Photo.  Follow the instructions provided for uploading your new photo.
• Q: What are the clerkship units based on in my student record's MD Academic Progress?
  • A: Clerkship Units reflect the enrolled and completed units found in Axess. As your total clerkship enrollments and completions change, you'll see the unit numbers increase. 
• Q: Where is the clerkship weeks information coming from in my student record's MD Academic Progress?
  • A: The Clerkship Weeks information comes from what's currently listed in your Clerkship Schedule, which is based on the annual Draw for core clerkships and weekly Shuffle for non-core clerkships.  The Clerkship Weeks data is included in the MD Academic Progress section to show your current progress toward fulfilling graduation requirements based on your planned clerkship enrollments along with any completed clerkships.
