To apply for a United States Medical Licensing Examination ® (USMLE®) Step 1 or Step 2 CK Exams, apply through NBME MyUSMLE web portal

Complete the online application. Be prepared to select an eligibility period (three month window to take the exam) and pay for the exam during the online application process.

Applications for Step 1 and Step 2CK require an online enrollment verification on the NBME portal by the School of Medicine Registrar. The online verifications are completed at least once a week on Wednesdays.  No action is required by the student for the enrollment verification, it will be completed by the Registrar's Office. 

Once the SoM Registrar’s Office verifies your enrollment, the NBME will send an email confirmation with a scheduling permit to schedule an exam date and location through Prometric.
