MCP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Seminars

The Story, Effort, and Experiments (SEE) Seminar Series is a new series created by the MCP DEI cabinet. SEE casts early to mid-career faculty in their context as humans, community builders, and truth seekers. The seminars will allow others to see the speakers’ personal narratives and struggles, their efforts to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in their environments, and their body of scientific work. In addition to highlighting and elevating exceptional young investigators, our hope is that SEE will provide concrete examples for trainees of how others have found a balance in their research pursuits, being true to their individual background, and improving DEI in their communities.
