Innovation and Translational Research Support

The Stanford Maternal and Child Health Research Institute is dedicated  to guiding Stanford investigators in the maturation of breakthrough therapies through proof-of-concept studies and commercialization.

The Innovation and Translational Research Support Service harnesses MCHRI & Stanford’s offerings to reduce funding gaps, regulatory burden, and challenges with identifying collaborators in translational medicine.

How This Is Achieved

How We Prioritize Projects

Take referrals from MCHRI Executive Leadership and identify projects that align with SMCH Goals

Look for opportunities to partner with investigators at Project Concept, Study Design, and Pre-Award phases

Provide support for projects that do not have a direct path for patent licensure, struggle finding funding, and require industry collaboration
