YiDing Yu, MD

Dr. YiDing Yu is a practicing physician and serial entrepreneur. She is currently CEO of Yu & Company, where she works with leading healthcare companies (from venture-backed to publicly traded) on NewCo formations, M&A, operations and product and growth strategy.

During residency, YiDing founded Twiage (acquired by TigerConnect), a life-saving early response platform for first responders and emergency departments. After Twiage, YiDing led Verata Health, an AI prior authorization startup, as Chief Medical Officer, where she oversaw marketing, customer operations, and product strategy. She was instrumental in the company’s growth from seed funding to its 9-figure acquisition by Olive AI. After the acquisition, YiDing served as General Manager and Chief Medical Officer at Olive, where she led the company's largest product line serving both provider and payer markets. She was later named Chief Product Officer and spearheaded major acquisitions by Availity, Waystar and Humata Health.

Most recently, YiDing helped found and launch Care Lumen. YiDing’s other experiences include Chief Innovation Engineer at Atrius Health, a $2 billion healthcare practice in Boston, MA, where she launched telemedicine across the practice. 

YiDing is a mom to two young boys and continues to enjoy clinical practice, providing care to veterans through the Boston VA Medical Center.
