Bio
Dr. Mallbris was named to her current position of Vice President, Immunology Development, Lilly Bio-Medicines Business Unit, in July 2017. Lotus joined Lilly in 2015 and has held leadership positions in development functions. Her most recent role was Global Brand Development Leader – Immunology in Lilly’s Bio-Medicines Business Unit, overseeing a multifunctional team to augment the Taltz® development program and launch readiness.
Prior to joining Lilly, she held several academic and leadership roles at Karolinska Institute and Pfizer.
Lotus received her medical degree from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and obtained a Ph.D. from the Department of Medicine at Karolinska Institute, Sweden. She continues to be an active member of several external immunology research advisory committees, bridging the external state-of-the-art research with Lilly. Lotus is the recipient of the 2021 Health Industry Visionary Award from the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR). The SWHR recognized the commitment to improving the lives of millions of people with autoimmune diseases by furthering innovation in health care, solving problems for patients and for advancing a diverse and inclusive workforce in the pharmaceutical industry.
Lotus is a mother of two girls. She enjoys watercolor painting, yoga and spending time with her family.
