Bio
Dr. Halpern is an endocrinologist with a clinical, teaching and research focus on obesity medicine.
After more than a decade in academia, in 2019 she transitioned to a leadership role in a start-up company, which delivers an evidence-based, multi-disciplinary medical weight loss intervention (provided by highly specialized board-certified physicians and dietitians) entirely through an app. She is delighted to be invited to be a Stanford mentor, and happy to help Stanford students with anything related to careers in healthcare.
