Research Interests:

I am interested in the phenomenon of ultrasound neuromodulation.  My research is currently aimed towards optimizing parameters used in a ultrasound neuromodulation as well as determining the mechanism by which ultrasound neuromodulation exerts its effects.  I am doing this mostly using a field potential electrophysiological system.  During my time in the lab I also hope to learn patch clamp electrophysiology.  In the future I would like to apply my skills towards researching novel treatments for psychiatric disorders.  It is very possible that ultrasound may end up being one of these treatments!
