M-TRAM stands at the forefront of translational medicine education, molding the future leaders who will navigate the convergence of science, medicine, and industry. M-TRAM leverages the world-class basic and translational medical research, bioengineering, biomedical technology, and business eco-system at Stanford. It is the only early translational program of its kind on the West Coast and one of only a few such one-year programs offered by a top-ranked U.S. university. By harnessing Stanford’s expertise in medicine, technology, and business, in collaboration with robust partnerships in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, M-TRAM offers students a rich and diverse learning experience encompassing drug development, clinical trials, biotechnology law, and business. As a result, M-TRAM trains the next generation of biomedical leaders to successfully translate scientific discoveries and clinical applications into practical solutions that improve and save lives.
