M-TRAM stands at the forefront of translational medicine education, molding the future leaders who will navigate the convergence of science, medicine, and industry. M-TRAM leverages the world-class basic and translational medical research, bioengineering, biomedical technology, and business eco-system at Stanford. It is the only early translational program of its kind on the West Coast and one of only a few such one-year programs offered by a top-ranked U.S. university. By harnessing Stanford’s expertise in medicine, technology, and business, in collaboration with robust partnerships in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, M-TRAM offers students a rich and diverse learning experience encompassing drug development, clinical trials, biotechnology law, and business, and trains the next generation of biomedical leaders to successfully translate scientific discoveries and clinical applications into practical solutions that improve and save lives.
