Stanford Research Centers and Institutes

Research Mentors

The Translational Research and Applied Medicine (TRAM) Center has over 100 associated Stanford faculty, many of whom are international leaders in translational medicine who support M-TRAM and are strong mentors to our students.

Industry Partnerships

Integral to the program is the experience students gain from biotech/pharma partners. The Translational Research and Applied Medicine (TRAM) Center already has ongoing industry partnerships with many biotech companies:

Additionally, through the collaboration with the department of Pediatrics MCHRI Drug and Device Development Training Program (D3), M-TRAM will offer internships with an industry partner that will feature immersive experiences within the firm’s operations. The D3 program has successfully matched their interns at various Biotech/Pharma partners, including Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson.
