Guy Zhaller

cGMP Maintenance Engineer

Guy Zahller has worked in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry starting in 1994 first working in facilities for Baxter Immunotherapy and Gene Therapy division and later moving into inventory control. He moved to the Bay area in 2001 to work for Connetics Corp working in Quality Systems doing inventory control, customer complaints, validation and metrology. In 2014 Guy worked for Alexza Pharmaceuticals as the deviation and CAPA manager then moved to validation. In 2016 he was hired by Stanford SOM to be the cGMP Facilities Validation Engineer. Guy graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Science Eduction. He has recieve his Oklahoma and California Teaching credentials and became a California Board of Pharmacy Designated Representive in 2003.

Jasminka Jakovljevic

Administrative Associate I

Jasminka Jakovljević joined the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine as Materials Management Specialist in May 2016. She is responsible for the materials management and administrative operations of the department.

Prior to joining Stanford, Jasminka was Account Manager at the Société Générale Group in New York, where she was in charge of overseeing and managing the financial and administrative affairs of International Banks and Institutions investing on the U.S. market.

Jasminka studied languages at the Belgrade University in Serbia, and is fluent in English, French and Serbian. 

Navene Hanhan    

Operations Manager

Navene Hanhan joined the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine as Operations Administrator in March 2017.  She supports both business finance and operations management of the facility. 

Prior to joining the LCGM, she oversaw front desk operations for Stanford Student Housing’s Off Campus Subsidized Housing program.

Navene graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in English, and Speech Communication.  

Jeremy McQuaide

Facilities and Operations Specialist II

Jeremy McQuaide joined the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine in December of 2018.  He supports operations management of the facility. 

Prior to joining the LCGM, he oversaw front desk operations for Stanford Student Housing’s Off-Campus Subsidized Housing program.

Jeremy graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in English.

Shaun Ross

Facilities and Operations Specialist 

Shaun joined the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine in December 2021 as Operations Specialist.

Prior to joining LCGM, he was a Lab and Classroom Support Coordinator at Stanford’s Center for Immersive and Simulation-based Learning (CISL).

Shaun earned his B.A. in Sociology from San Jose State University.
